Dads Group
a therapist-led processing group
-
I have been running men’s groups since 2018. As a father myself, I invite dads to explore the shifts in their sense of self, masculinity in fatherhood, and the daunting responsibilities of being a dad today. Through a commitment to supporting each other in introspection, dads feel a sense of belonging and clarity in what truly matters to them.

The check-in is the backbone of this group - participants share what feels present, successes, and struggles. Other participants then have a chance to offer reflections, reactions, or feedback if the sharer wants it. With our remaining time, we discuss themes that emerged from the check-ins or explore them with a simple expressive activity.
